About Dr. Chad Yeshayahu Foster
Dr. Chad Yeshayahu Foster has a unique background which is complemented by diverse theological training across denominations and religions.
Dr. Foster received a Master of Divinity from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, a Doctorate in Apologetics and Pastoral Ministry from Trinity Theological Seminary in partnership with the University of Liverpool, and has completed post-doctorate studies in human rights in Strasbourg, France. In addition, Dr. Chad (as many of his students call him) has studied at the Yeshivat Kol HaTor and with the Azamra Institute in Jerusalem.
Not only is he an ordained minister in the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, but Dr. Chad has also received rabbinical ordination. In the past, he has served on the Beit Din of the United Messianic Jewish Assembly and has spoken at numerous conferences and events in the United States and in Israel. The combination of being both Christian and Jewish; of being both a pastor and a rabbi; of being both trained in Christian seminaries and by Orthodox Jewish rabbis; has produced a unique worldview and an ability to have conversations and build bridges. Dr. Chad's true joy is simply sharing what he has received from his teachers, particularly in matters of Torah and Messiah.
